Hi Ronni, Hi Bill, I don't use Skype, so this is just me thinking out loud ;o)
I can see that this would solve the problem - it is the same as hitting "allow" without having to do it every time (forgive me for stating the obvious) The thing is, Bill says he hits "Deny" rather than "Allow" and everything still works OK (except that he keeps getting asked, of course). So the real question seems to be: - Skype does not NEED to access keychain - it works when access is denied - so why does Skype keep saying it needs to access keychain when it doesn't REALLY? Of course, Bill might not really care - given that this provides an easy fix. If you are like me and "need to know" these things ;o) .... Have you tried opening keychain and searching out any "skype" keychain items (the fact that you get asked twice ?may? mean you have duplicate items) When you find the relevant "skype" item(s) you can double-click it (them) to open up an Attributes/Access Control window and then check the "show password" box (you usually will be asked for your login password) - make sure to make a note of the password(s) When you are sure you have recorded any username(s) and password(s) - you can try deleting the "skype" keychain items and then try Skype again. You may be asked again for a username and/or password - if Skype really does need to have a keychain item it will recreate it using these inputs. Just a thought - see how you go.
