If you are like me and "need to know" these things ;o) ....
Have you tried opening keychain and searching out any "skype"
keychain items
(the fact that you get asked twice ?may? mean you have duplicate
items)
When you find the relevant "skype" item(s) you can double-click it
(them) to
open up an Attributes/Access Control window and then check the "show
password" box (you usually will be asked for your login password) -
make
sure to make a note of the password(s)
When you are sure you have recorded any username(s) and password(s)
- you
can try deleting the "skype" keychain items and then try Skype
again. You
may be asked again for a username and/or password - if Skype really
does
need to have a keychain item it will recreate it using these inputs.
Just a thought - see how you go.
