Hi Ronni

If you are on an enforced medical break I'm not sure I should be bothering you
but you did reply and I thank you for that.

I am using Snow Leopard and as you suggested, have inserted the installation
disk into the MacBook and am at the window that says "install". So do I go
ahead and re install SL
and then find Disk Utility. I'm a bit nervous of going ahead given that SL is
already installed.

One good thing to come from this is that I now have Mail set up on the Mac Mini
and after deleting more than 600 emails it's back to normal! I also get to
really use the great little wireless keyboard that has, so far, had very little
use.

Kind regards
Laura
