I did make a post indicating that one of my hard drives was dropping off the desk top with the familiar put away warning box. I thought it was the drive that was packing up. So I drought a new one. A few days ago the new one had warning signs from Drive Genius 3 that it needed urgent repair. First time it came up with 48 bad blocks in the first 3%. I went through with DiskWarrior then Techtool and now it appears stable. Not the end of the story Now my other drive at schgool is dropping off the desk top and I cannot read one of my Corsair thumb drives. I think there must be something incorrect with the latest 10.6.5. Real question How can I test this other than reinstalling the upgrade.
