Hi Ian,

I feel this is the cause of the problem your wife is experiencing, as it
doesn’t happen to you when type and delete by ‘overwriting’ the misspelt word.

As Ray Forma explained in his reply & I concur it has never happened to me as I
use ‘Highlight' the mistake and type, the mistake is replaced.
No hitting delete or deleting back to the mistake.

If your wife wishes to delete text by hitting the delete key all the time …
give her a typewriter!
Then you will really be in trouble ;-)

Cheers,
Ronni
