Carlo, what you are saying is that the GPS on the iPhone was working
but the application Maps was not? Interesting the I can pre-load the
map concerned.
I note the other posting answer the other aspect of the question i.e.
you have to have a GPS application to use the GPS of the iPhone when
out of range.
