Hi Sam,

I realise you meant to post this on GMUG Mailing list, but it’s here now so ;-)

To Delete Multiple Messages: Tap Edit. 
Tap the circle to the left of one or more messages to “check” them. 
Tap Delete to delete the checked messages.
