Is it an Apple Magic Mouse? Is it running off an iMac? Is it close the machine? I had seen a wireless mouse that was slightly jerky to a MacPro that was a "bit out of range" and a "blocked signal". So that's another thing to check as well…. Resetting SMC can also help with Bluetooth settings as well, so that's worth a try too.
