Hi Vlad, I certainly won't disagree with you Re: Bigpond, I never recommend Bigpond to my clients, family or friends. That said though, have you upgraded the Firmware on the Netcomm 3G21WB?
The Telstra Elite Modem (Netcomm 3G21WB) has a known issue with certain firmware versions which prevents these modems from automatically selecting the external antenna. The good news is that a firmware update is available that allows you to manually select the external antenna in the web interface of the modem.
