Suddenly this afternoon Safari started to act up. Looking at my own
websites, I have several, it was as if words had been highlighted and made into
links which then gave popups telling me how too earn money and the like. I
notified Westnet who checked and reported no malfunction and suggested it was
browser related. Sure enough, no worries with Google Chrome or Firefox so the
sites themselves are clean. I guess I need to purge Safari. It is only on my
own sites and Safari is fine on outside sites. I am really puzzled here, what
is special about my sites?
Has anyone else encountered this. Started this afternoon, was fine this
morning. I use Intego and NetBarrier is set to block everything and virus
barrier has reported nothing during realtime scanning.
