Hi Chris, I wouldn't have told you you can't install Yosemite on your MacBook Pro. In previous emails you asked about upgrading to Mavericks & I mentioned Mavericks was no longer available to download. Yosemite will install on MacBook Pro (17-inch, Late 2007 or newer) - <https://www.apple.com/au/osx/how-to-upgrade/> But I did mention you would have to carefully go through all the applications you currently use and check for updates compatible with Yosemite. Update all applications and do The Preparation before installing Yosemite.
Snow Leopard has Helvetica Neue Font - Did you open Font Book to see all the Fonts installed on your system, as I mentioned in my previous reply?
