The idea is to start in Safe Mode, then try to do the same things which you 
notice cause the problem. This is not always completely possible, of course, 
because Safe Mode prevents the loading of some software components which might 
to necessary for things to work properly, but if your computer suddlenly starts 
to behave properly then it’s an indication that the problem comes from 
something that is loaded during the normal startup process. It’s just a 
starting point, really, but I have actually seen problems disappear simply by 
booting into Safe Mode, then restarting normally.
