Hi all,
I'm having problems with my Time Machine backup.

It comes up with a message saying can't complete backup. Backup prepares,
then begins
Messages say:
network error
or
error in updating

I can't enter the sparsebundle from Finder, though I can from the Enter
Time Machine in the top menu.

When disk is connected (can see in Finder sidebar) Disk Utility will not
even load...just keeps with an empty grey box.

I think maybe there's something wrong with my Macbook Pro.

3 samsung and 1 WD have frtized out in the last 6 months, after using
Carbon Copy Cloner to backup my drive..ie they no longer will mount and not
reparable.

The last was a new tiny fancy 500GB Samsung which has also died. [still
under warranty but in such short supply can't provide me with a replacement]

Any suggestions gratefully received.
