Hi, Daniel, Thanks for your reply, but I still haven’t been able to change away from the pernicious Bing. Clicking on the magnifying glass does nothing. On the Safari Preferences Search tab, trying to change Bing to anything else is futile. I attach a screen shot of the Safari General Preference tab. It differs from the screen shot that Peter Faulks sent (thanks, Peter) in that my list does not contain a Default search engine. I am convinced that these changes are the result of the Security 2018-001 update. I have to say I was puzzled by the 2018-001 number because it is already May and there must have been previous security updates, or is that wrong?
