Hi Neil, Thanks for responding. I will check out both the Apple and Panasonic settings more critically.
I did change the AppleTV default from 1080p-60Hz to 1080p-50Hz a long time ago. No change in viewing quality detected. Quality of actual iTunes movies is as expected, as is quality of ABC iView, YouTube, SBS etc via their respective apps. Correct aspect ratios, letterbox masks and full screens when appropriate. It seems to be just the "top level” Computer app with it’s menu that is causing the problem. The menu bar is fixed - it would be nice if it floated up out of sight when scrolling through the list. Both ABC and SBS do this.
