Hi all, I come to the understanding that an operation sent from a client to a wave server (say wavesandbox) will only be applied at the client after receiving application level acknowledgement from the server. Say a FedOne wave server is in federation with master wavesandbox. Does this mean that an operation is not applied at the FedOne server until acknowledgement from wavesandbox as well?
The reason I'm seeking clarification is if an operation can be applied at the FedOne server without requiring acknowledgement from the master wavesandbox, then operations can be applied in different orders, and potentially from more than 3 sites. But this does not sound right also as I think I have been told that this cannot be done with current Google Wave's OT implementation. Or am I missing something huge?! Would appreciate if somebody can shed some light on this. Thank you. Chiang -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Wave Protocol" group.
