Not a bad idea, but wavesandbox.org is taken and I assume Tad wants to set this up soon, which won't allow us to go with the .com (at least right now).
I like the idea of the poll. One thing to consider is what we refer to this as. Many people will have demo servers stood up, but this one has a special purpose and should be a resource people can depend upon from a community perspective.
