Hey Folks,

Well, to make things as easy as I can...I've change the WBMUTBB Chapters web
site to make it VERY easy to either "subscribe" or to "unsubscribe" to the
WBMTUBB Digest. I hope this will allow those of you who need to leave us for
some reason or those that want to change the email address to which the
Digest is mailed to be able to do these changes fairly easy.

If you need to change addresses, you must first unsubscribe your present
email address and the subscribe the new one. You don't have to wait between
doing these to operations so don't feel like you'll miss out on anything.
Just do one...then go back and do the other.

While I wouldn't argue against someone's choice of all time favorite episode, I
do
think that the scene where Otis thinks he's fallen out of bed and landed on the
wall
is one of the all time best scenes, and I laugh out loud just thinking about it!

P.S. Thanks to Chris C. for letting us know about this weekend's Grand Ole Opry
show,
I can't wait to see and hear one of my favorite actors along with my favorite
banjo
picker (sorry Doug, but even you'd admit Earl is THE Man.)

Alright! I'm glad everyone is enjoying the game! Here's my guesses for
Mrs Lesch's clues:

1)Campbell's Japanese Blossoms=Otis' lotus
2) Merriwether's Powders =Malcom's talcums
3) Barney's Girlfriend's Coiffures =Thelma Lou's Do's
4) Briscoe's Barn Birds=Darling's starlings
5) Pyle's Baseball Hits =Gomer's homers
6) The County Nurse's Fruit =Ellen's melons

Hi All,
Speaking of Veteran's Day, I know that Barney did his part to "defeat the
bloody Hun" during WWII in New Jersey. I want to say that Andy also
mentioned his having been in the Army. Anyone remember it?
That also reminds me, that when I was overseas in the Army, I can
remember seeing TAGS dubbed into Spanish, German, French, and the one that
got me was seeing Ernest T wreaking Mrs. Willey's tea, dubbed into Italian, I
laughed so hard that I almost "busted a gut".

Thanks,
Steve

If you don't receive the Bullet (The OFFICIAL newsletter of TAGSRWC), you
should visit <www.tagsrwc.com> and order the yearly subscription for next
year (2000), and ask Jim, the head Goober, to send you a back issue of
November 19, 1999. It is packed full (28 pages) of wonderful
information! I loved the aerial photo of Mayberry! I was fascinating by
the bird's eye view of the layout, and I enjoyed trying to remember how
all the small snipits of locale we see in the episodes fit together. If
I sit here long enough with this bucket on my head, I hope "all the
pieces of the puzzle will fall together and I'll see the big picture."

Thanks, Jim and Mary, and Joel Rasmussen, for a technical look behind
the scenes of Mayberry, Our Hometown! I also would like to thank Allan,
and my Mother Figure. Somehow I know they had something to do with this
great pleasure, as well!

Lotsa luck to you and yers!

I must admit something must have happened to the people on our beloved list?
Over on Allan's site "Dogs, Dogs, Dogs" is voted the 93rd best episode!!!???
Wasn't this a very popular episode just last year on this list? So far,
this episode has only received 15 votes or 1.2% of the total (Unbelievable).
Has everyone forgot Barney's giraffe story, and Barney's line when Andy
asked him where he is going, "to get them dogs."? Don't forget Opie's face
when Ole Barn said that. ONLY 15 VOTES? Please go over there and cast your
vote!

Subject: Vote Tampering / Resetting Vote Count

Hey Folks,

Because so many of you believe there was vote tampering and since if you
believe that the poll won't really mean anything anyway.....

I've reset the votes back to zero on the "Favorite Episode Poll".

http://tagsrwc.com/favoritepoll/FavoriteEpisodeVoting.html

Now, y'all head over there and vote for your favorite episode, even if you've
already done it. I reset everything so you should be able to cast your vote
once again. Let's make sure that we keep this one honest, though I'm not sure
that anybody in this group would have "spiked" the vote in the first place.

Go vote today!!!

Thanks Allan for all the good work you do and for this
wonderful website. I don't know what I would do
without The Andy Griffith Show as it has been a part
of my life for the longest time....my kids, and
hopefully my grandkids. My daughter-in-law, on the
day of her wedding to my son...stood there waiting to
walk down the aisle, and I said how beautiful she
looked in her dress with her bouquet, and she smiled
and said..."It wouldn't be right to go to a wedding
unadorned"!!!!!! have a good weekend, and "What's
your hurry...slow down, take it easy."
