> I finally went over to that there Ebay and checked out some TAGS items. I almost took the plunge there to, but I don't know what stuff is really worth. Is there such thing as a price guide?? >
There is no price guide for older TAGS items, but here are some APPROXIMATE prices. Of course, with any collectible the condition the item is in is the determining factor. These prices are for items in excellent condition. TAGS comic books (very scarce): $300-400 TAGS coloring books (colored in): $50-75 TAGS coloring books (unused): $200-300 TAGS soundtrack album: $100-$200 (stereo version is rarer than mono version) National TV Guides with TAGS characters on cover: $30-50 Regional TV Guide with TAGS characters on cover: $50-75 Of course, when you're using eBay, the prices can vary by a HUGE margin, depending on how badly somebody else wants the item you're bidding on. A couple of months ago, one of the Mayberry Hawthorne buildings (seems like maybe it was the Post Office) went for almost $400, which IMO is about $360 too much. On the other hand, the SELLER of that item was no doubt thrilled that the bidding reach that high! BTW, for those of you who use eBay, my userID is "squadcar." --Paul
