I am enjoying this TAGS marathon more than Olive enjoys watching a thin
man eat! (it does her heart good, ya know) I love the station
identification tag with the catchy tune and Our Man Andy dancing a smart
little jig!
Am now watching "Citizen's Arrest"...has anyone noticed that as Ange and
Barn are going thru old papers they find Barn's receipt for his
revolver. It was 10 years old. Now correct me if I'm wrong but isn't
there another b/w episode where they celebrate Barney's 5th year on the
force?
One more thing...what did Gomer yell at Barney when he was issued a
ticket? Something about yelling fish?! Help me here...thanks!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!
If you'll notice, the WBMUTBB Digest well now be numbered as Volume 2 and
is starting over with Issue 1. I figured the New Year was a good time to
start a
new volume here at the Digest.
We're now at 1354 members here at WBMUTBB Chapter!!! That's up from
1059 on December 31, 1998. We added almost 300 members in the last year!
And that doesn't count those that have joined and then left or those that
just
went ON LEAVE. It's been a great year and I'm looking forward to year 2000
being just as good if not better. This is the 40th Anniversary year of the
airing
of the first episode of TAGS!!!

have been for a few years. I also went to the reunion at Opryland back in
1991 and it was a ton of fun! Don Knotts was there, the Darlings, Goober, Hal
Smith (I was actually able to get his autograph),Betty Lynn, and even Rafe
and Ernest T Bass. I wish I could do it all over again. I have been meaning

Hi! I am a true Andy Griffith fan. I love the show, in fact, it is still my
all time favorite show on television. My maiden name is Fife. This is not a
comman name, does anyone know where or why the name of Fife was given to
Barney? When I was growing up everyone always asked me if I was related to

I have watched the Andy Griffith Show since I was a child and never get tired
of the reruns. My first husband's last name was Griffith so of course we
named our son Andy Griffith. He doesn't care for the name because he got a
lot of kidding about it. My father looked a lot like Andy Griffith and was
like the character he played, so I wanted to name my son after the actor. My
daughter who is 26 likes to watch the show everytime it comes on too.
