I can't remember who recommended Paul Gulley's books but I'm so glad they
did. I put them on my Christmas wish list and began reading a few days
ago. I can't thank you for enough for bringing them to my attention for
they are wonderful. Just as we enjoy visiting Mayberry, I now am
visiting his hometown and wanting to move there. The stories are lovely
glimpses into small-town living with messages of hope and inspiration
plus a charming sense of humor. I'm enjoying them so much I am dreading
the end, so I've decided to limit myself to one story each day along with
my devotional so they'll last longer. I just can't say enough about
these great books! Aunt Bee of Orlando

Re: Paul Giles message, thanks for notifying us about any
Mayberry-related items. But I just hope he minds his manners this time.
I was sorely disappointed in his conversation on the Actors Studio the
other day. I just wish we could all refrain from naughty words all the
time! Aunt Bee of Orlando

Hi, I was checking out a web site for Aneta Corsaut (Helen), and
it listed her as appearing on the soap "Days of our Lives" during the
mid-80's. She played the mother of a character by the name of Bo Bradley.
Now, I don't watch this soap, but I have never heard her even mentioned as
being on this program, and I find that odd because we have discussed what
other roles she played after TAGS, and usually
the only ones anyone can remember are Matlock and Adam 12. (This site,
for TVLand, listed Matlock but not Adam 12, at least I cannot remember
Adam 12 being listed.)
"I feel sorry for you, baby. You had your chance to fly with me, but
you blew it. Now the balloon has gone up without you." Barney when he
was trying to take Miss Ellie away from Andy. (I don't know what HER
problem was, that hair-do would have worked on me!) Laura Lee Hobbs

I think the man in the old Cracker Jack commercials is Jack Gilford.
