Well, how exciting to see our own Jim Clark on E's program! I kept
hoping to see him and there he was! By the way, that map is available in
his book, which is a wealth of info and fun!! Aunt Bee of Orlando

Forks, forks, forks. Enough!
While Laura Lee indeed has a delightful way with words, I would
prefer to read about Andy and the gang and the show. Perhaps she would care
to launch a site of her own where people interested in her life could
follow.
In other words, let's stay on subject.

I'm not too sure that Anthony Millhouse Taylor was Mr. Schwamp. I did some
checking and the IMBD says that he was an extra on Stalag 17 and that he
produced the movie INCUBUS staring William Shatner. Now...it's very possible
that Anthony M. Taylor and Anthhony Millhouse Taylor are different people but
if they aren't...then it's not Mr. Schwamp.
You can see a picture of Anthony M. Taylor at this web site.

If ANYBODY can get more details on Anthony Millhouse Taylor (and a photo of
him) maybe we can track down Mr. Schwamp.

annoyed that the body of the program is so butchered. What really makes me
madder than a wet hen, is the fact that we PAY our cable company for these
classic shows and then STILL have to watch commercials. I know they do a lot
self-promotion of their own station, but there are still way too many
commercials. Ok, I've worked up a lather with this subject. I need to go
stick my head in the refrigerator to cool down!!!
Last Friday and this same time I could have just gone outside and played in
the 4 inches of sleet, snow and ice that we got. Today it was 70 degrees!!
That's the way it is in East Texas!!

Hey Larry & list,
One source for the map of Mayberry is Stephen Spignesi's "Mayberry My
Hometown" book, available from Weavers. This book also has the floor
plan of the Taylor's home, the Courthouse, Floyd's Barbershop, the
Bluebird Diner, and Barney's Room at Mrs. Mendlebright's, and a wealth of
other info. It is quite a work! I don't think you'll regret buying it.
