Hey Mayberry Fans,

I received my 1965 Mayberry Squad Car Replica recently, from Bob, [EMAIL
PROTECTED]
btv.net .He's the place to go for these fine cars. It's big! Big! Big is
what it is! A real nice addition to my little corner of Mayberry. They are
1:24 scale, and really are nicely detailed. In fact they even come with a
radio antenna. Bob says he has a 63 & 65 ready in case anyone out there in
Mayberry wants one. Contact him before 5/03/00, thereafter they will go up on
auction he says on EBay. Contact him directly if you are interested. I just
thought someone might be interested.

Mayberry says thanks & happy Motoring,

David , Corydon, IN

Alright Laura Lee, I'll take your word that you're not out to steal away
my one true love. And don't you give it another thought...I know how
lucky I am to have a real southern gentleman like Gomer and I have no
intention of breaking his precious heart! To quote Charlene Darling,
"Gomer is the sweetest boy what was ever grown!" And if you don't
believe that I'm sincere, then go to the website below...it shows I've
declared for Gomer in earnest!

Now if making a mini-website isn't a testiment to my devotion to Gomer,
I don't know what is!!!:-)

I just saw the episode where Aunt Bee tries to be the "Foster Lady".
Isn't Mr. Foster the same man who played the Man In A Hurry? TAGS often
used repeat actors, not necessarily in the same role.

Ronnie Schell (who played Duke Slater on Gomer Pyle USMC) played the
director of
the commercial Aunt Bee tried to make.

OK, all you Johnny Coons fans. Now that TVLand is into the 3 color years,
has anyone spotted Johnny in color? So far, I haven't. Maybe he got a
movie contract like Don did.

I've studied on it quite a bit and (even though how I vote, Brother, is my
business) I tell ya I'm just as much against a TAGS remake as the next guy.
However, I have to admit that, if they do it, I'll watch. I'm a sucker for
those kinda things (still mad at myself for mis-setting my VCR and missing
Mary and Rhoda's reunion). I know they're cheesy at best, and downright
offensive at worst. But, there's something about 'em that I can't miss
(hmmm, maybe like a train wreck).

There was a lot of criticism about the Beverly Hillbillies and how that
unfairly stereotypes us hicks. However, if you think about it, those hicks
were the only decent folks in the movie. And Leave it to Beaver is
probably my second all time favorite show. Certainly the movie was less
than desirable, but it was one of the few I've actually gone to the movies
to see in the past several years.

Something in me appreciates any kind of tribute - even one driven by
commercialism. Anyway, I'll fuss and fume right with the rest of you and
even complain about how bad it was afterwards. - but I'll watch if it's
done.

Subject: T-Shirt Search

I have an old Mayberry Union High t-shirt which has seen better days. It's
gray with orange block letters. I've plumb worn it out and would like to
find a replacement. Any one know where I can get one?

Thanks.

I'd sure like to add my name to that wish list. Anyone out there seen these
darned shirts?

"Do it boy, do it!"
