Hey folks,

Here's an update on the shirts and mousepads.

The WBMTUBB Mousepads are here at my house and they look great!! I have
PLENTY of them if anybody still wants to order one (or two). I expect these
to go quickly when folks actually see them but I have 120 or so that aren't
spoken for.

Jan is planning on picking up the WBMUTBB shirts (both tees and sweats) on
Tuesday if all goes as planned. We'll be getting them in the mail either late
next week or early the following week to everybody that's order AND paid me
for what they ordered. If you've ordered...get your check to me so I can mail
you your stuff.

Jan and I ordered a FEW extra t-shirts in sizes L, XL, and 2XL. These won't
last too long so if you want one....get your order in as well as your
payment. You can either mail the check to me or use your credit card to pay
by using PayPal.com. The link below will take you there to sign up if you'd
like.

That's the update.

The first Floyd was Floyd COLBY. I can't tell you without getting out the
big book who played that part but he's not a material witness. Floyd LAWSON
was always played by our beloved Howard McNear - you can write that in ink.

Okay, I know this is stretching it a bit, but we never saw Charlie Brown's

Hehehe...for me it was hard not to imagine "Nana" as Mrs. June Cleaver, as of
course, Barbara Billingsley did the voice. :-)

I've been playing around with program/game creation software, I could always
try this idea...
an addition:
15: capturing Ernest T Bass at the Darlins.

I am from a small town in WV called Spencer, which was the county seat
of Roane County. I would say that we had roughly the same population as
Mayberry and the same assortment of businesses. The courthouse offices
were upstairs from the sheriff's office too. I remember going with my
daddy to get new car tags and licenses and thought how quiet and solemn
the upstairs hallway was. Remeber, Howard Sprauge was the COUNTY clerk
and he seemed to do everything from dog tags to bike licenses to
property taxes. I just don't think that a small county courthouse was
 that busy in those days

I think this is a tough trivia question for all you trained noticers
out there:

In what episode can an entrance to a beauty shop be seen from inside
the barber shop?

I haven't made it beyond the sweeping level in "Cyber Barney" myself. But I
had a friend who got a set of cheat codes from a website, and he made it all
the way to Level 37: Barney locking himself in the cell. He's going to let me
know if and when he makes it all the way to Level 52: Barney shooting himself
in the foot.

How about the detective show where all you saw were the receptionist''s legs?

Now I can't name the episode but the first Floyd ever on the show was
not played by Howard McNear. He did have a stroke but his character was
never replaced; he just wasn't seen for awhile til Andy asked him back
and accommodated Howard by letting him sit and propping him up against a
board. I'm sure some of our more knowledgable members know the name of
this actor that was Mayberry's 1st barber.

Floyd was always played by Howard McNear EXCEPT the first episode. My mind is
a blank, but they didn't have a contract because Howard was working on
another project. But he came in for the second and stayed until his death. If
my memory serves me correctly, the last episode he appeared in was the one
where Howard Sprague bought the building where Floyd's barber shop is
located. The last year or so he was on the series, he did in fact do a lot of
sitting and in an interview, Andy said they completely rewrote some scripts
to accomodate his stroke and his inability to stand unaided.

How about "The Millionaire". The show was named after him and he was never
seen except as a hand passing a check!

Hello folks,

I was just watching the episode where Otis gets a new car. Andy & Barney are
playing gin rummy at the beginning of the show. Barney gets frustrated
during the game and says, "Creepers!" I love the way he says it! This is the
only episode that I can think of, where he or anyone else uses that word as
an expression of frustration. Just thought it was interesting.
