Hey Folks,
I talked to Gary and there's not too much going on Friday night at
Meadowview. If any of y'all are coming in on Friday night, let me know if
you'd like to get together for some good conversation around supper time or
later?
The Meadowview has a nice area in the loby where we can visit. I'll try and
remember to bring the Mayberry Scrapbook that Jan made for me for Christmas
and show it off to everybody. I hope at least a few of y'all will be around
Friday evening.
One other note, the last set of t-shirts and sweatshirts that y'all ordered
went to the Post Office today. If you ordered (and have paid me), your stuff
is in the mail.

TAGS fans,
My father and I were talking about a movie from a few ears ago with
Dean Jones in which he spoke with a very gravelly voice and my father was
wondering if he had had throat problems or something. Not too long after
that, I saw Dean Jones in a movie made later in which he voice was normal.
My father is a huge TAGS fan so he knew what I was referring to when I told
him that "that's the actor of the man." Of course, now we're trying to
think of somewhere we can travel to to hear that gravelly voice in the
flesh.

I am a retired police officer who became disabled from an "on duty" injury
that has taken a large part of my "past life" away. I spent 3 yrs. in and
out of the hospital undergoing 7 surgeries and learning to walk again. I am
42 years old and have loved Andy and Mayberry ever since I can remember. In
my spare time now I tape every episode of TAGS. I must admit I also tape
Leave it to Beaver, but that's another story! If I could find a place today
like Mayberry I would move in a minute. I have searched too! There are
several small towns in Virginia like Mayberry. One day I will find it and

"Dillards", aka The Darlin boys!

Regardless of how old this show is, it will never be stale or outdated. The

always was able to deal with serious issues and mix in a great deal of humor

the same time. As corny as it may sound, there are plenty of times when

an episode I think I would love to live in this little town. Although Barney
