>>>I watch alot of biographys on t.v. of different actors. I dont recall any
on the tags actors.

"Biography" episodes have been done for Andy Griffith, Ronny Howard, and Don
Knotts. Seems like there was also one for Danny Thomas.

Jim Nabors has been featured in a similar program, MSNBC's "Headliners and
Legends."

Hi Kurt (hunterkn443)! Actually it was the Morrison sisters. Jennifer and
Clarabell Morrison. I think Jennifer was the one that couldn't get enough of
that witch hazel scent, and was somewhat boy crazy (as her sister would say).
Now that I'm thinking of it....Isn't the episode "Man in a Hurry," The man
is trying to use the phone and Andy tells him the Morrison sister's visit by
phone a good part of the day. I'm wondering he's probably speaking of some
other Morrison sister's because these one's seemed to live together or at
least close by and in Mayberry. I think Andy tells him one sister lives in
Charlotte and another sister lives somewhere else. That's what I call
Adventure Sleeping! Lot's of Luck to you and Yours....Charlene

Anet Corsault who plays Andy's girlfriend Helen also played Pete (Martin
Milner) Malloy's girlfriend in the last two seasons of Adam-12. Jack Webb
of Dragnet fame, produced and created this show. Aneta played Judy a
divorced mother with a son. I wonder if it's Andy's? She must have dumped
Pete to get back to Andy by the time Return to Mayberry came out.

Doesn't my mind do miraculous things? (grin)
Take care,

Jeannine

How many episodes did Jack Burns's character "Warren Ferguson" appear in? Does
anyone know why this character was written out?

Just guessing - but I'll bet that "blonde in a bottle" had been around the
block a few times. And.... don't forget about Tom Silbee (or Silby or
whatever) who was too wimpy to divorce Henrietta so he just pretended he was
dead. Thelma Lou dumped what's-his-name after realizing what a mess she'd
made of her life. If Ellen Brown hadn't left town - there might have been a
few more blanket splittings. But the ones who should have divorced - Fred &
Jenny Boone - were crazy about each other.
Goober Linda - holding on to the Mister Goob - he's the one with the pension.

Hey, beautifully preserved people of Mayberry!

I honestly don't recall the answer to this question and I didn't find it
at the FAQ site, so here goes--and apologies if it has been asked and
answered many times before. But, hey, I KNOW you're used to that by now.

What was the reason the first Floyd was replaced? Granted, I can't imagine
not having Howard McNear playing Floyd, but the first guy really
wasn't bad (as long as you don't compare him to Howard). And I've just been
sitting here with my Thanking Bucket on and honestly couldn't remember if
there was a reason--like if the first actor passed away
or became ill--to recast him.
Laura Lee Hobbs, dime store clerk & gold truck receiver gal
extraordinaire--and Aunt Bee, please send me your new address
