Chad,

I work for a newspaper and received these tapes when they were sent to the
media a few years back.
They are the same cut versions that are shown on TV Land today.

If you are interested in getting an un-cut copy of the Danny Thomas Show TAGS
pilot you can get it
from Weavers Dept Store at TAGSRWC.com

Happy Watching,
Bart

I guess there isn't one for DE, but it looks like we've covered DC, FL, GA,
and HI. Besides those already mentioned, here are a few more:

DC:
Barney wants to send his motor-sickle to the "Smith Brothers Institution"
(he obviously means The Smithsonian)
When Barney finds a briefcase full of money, the FBI sends a man down from
Washington

FL:
Roger Hanover tries to con money out of Andy, allegedly so he can get to
Florida
Barney suggests Andy should catch the Sunburst Special to Miami Beach

GA:
Eddie Brook escaped from the Atlanta penitentiary
"Melissa" Stevens claims her daddy owned a business in Savannah

Time to move on to the I's (there's a lot of kindness behind those I's!):
Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa. Illinois is not too hard, but the other
three will be tough!

of TAGS.
i don't know about y'all, but i don't like the color episodes very much.
anyone have any idea when they will get back to showing the black & white
shows?

it's just not the same without barney...

Subject: Little Rascals and TAGS

My hubby and I were watching the Little Rascals "Spiffin' Up" and we saw the
"little fat mayor" (Mayor Pike) from TAGS! (Someone, I can't remember who,
maybe Barney, called him the "little fat mayor" on an episode). He played the
truant officer who had a beautiful little daughter that all the little boys
were crazy about. The fellows had been told by their moms to wash up and brush
their hair, and of course, they refused to do this until they happened upon
the lovely little girl who had just moved into the neighborhood. Of course,
then there was a huge rush to clean up and get on the good side of the little
girl and her truant officer daddy. Well, it was all for naught because she
already had a rich boyfriend, and the daddy got irritated with the boys for
breaking a curtain rod and for running him into a cactus. Mr. Mayor looked
quite a bit different in the Little Rascals than in TAGS, since he had gained
weight in between times, but there is no mistaking that voice!! :) Lisa

Hey Folks,

I found a neat site with all kinds of "Mountain" type stuff on it. The main
thing most of you might want to see is the story on the Mayberry Trading
Post. It's located about 30 miles from Mt. Airy, NC (Andy's hometown) and
it's the area where is it is reported that Andy's mom was raised.

This takes you right to the Mayberry trading post area.

Enjoy.
