I might have known you would have the answer for me. Yes indeed it was
Don Knotts voice as Windy Wales on the Bobby Benson's B-Bar-B Ranch
radio show, that I was refering to. The old memory isn't what it used
to be. Thanks Paul

Mike Snider. Some of you may not know of him but he is naturally funny. He
was a banjo picker on "Hee Haw". If you ever heard him do a song called "The
Fur Coat" then you would know he would fit right in on TAGS!
Good to hear from Mr. Bullock about them gollywobblers!

>>Mike Zimmerman wrote that someone told him Monday was
Aunt Bee's birthday. I hope not because this website
(http://www.scopesys.com/anyday/) does not list it as
that day.
If you go to www.findagrave.com, you can see a picture of Frances Bavier's
grave. The headstone says she was born on December 14, 1902. Several other
Mayberry folks are listed on the site also.

How about the time when Andy borrowed Warren's gun to stop the couple that
was stealing the trailer museum. It was a color episode. I think he shot out
a tire to stop the vehicle.

Folks, you can find Birthdays and if/when they passed away (that's kind of
morbid but folks tend to want to know) by going to the TAGSRWC web site and
clicking the "Cast Birthdays" link.
There's a searchable database there off all the casts birthdays.

Just so all of you will know....
The Newsome's are taking a vacation to Disney begining this coming Saturday.
We'll be gone until the next Saturday so y'all will have to fend for yourself
if there's a problem of somekind. I don't expect the Digest to have any
problems as it's been working REALLY well since we go out new list software
working so I'm hoping you won't have any problems. My brother and his wife
will be house setting so maybe they'll be able to check in from time to time
to make sure things are okay in Mayberry.
If any of you folks will be at Disney next week, look us up. We'll be sure to
stop by the statue of Andy that's at Disney/MGM and get out picture made.

Just read an interview with Danny Bonaduce and he says his first screen
credit was as Opie's buddy on TAGS. What episode was he in? Just curious,
but Mr. Bullock, did you know Danny's father he was a screen writer?
Thanks, Maria

How nice to hear from Harvey Bullock about gollywobblers! His note
reminded me of something my grandmother used to say. I've never heard this
word on the show, but she was always talking about someone who was sick
having the "epizudie." I didn't know what that was, but knew I never
wanted to catch it, either! Many years later, I saw an old medicine
bottle in an antique store that said it was good for the "epizudie" so
evidently, epizudie was a real illness. Whatever it is, I still don't want
to catch it!

I wouldn't mention this to Andy, but I'm pretty sure I saw Helen Crump
and Steve McQueen making out in the back seat of a car in The blob.
Considering the wild reputation she brought with her from Kansas City, I
guess I'm not completely surprised. I just hope poor old Andy hasn't seen
that movie.
