was watching last nights episode of TAGS (Andy's Old Girlfriend) and Goober
states that She and Andy were always together. Andy mentions that that was
10 years ago. Now, if my calculations are correct, Opie would have been a
baby of 2 or 3 years at that time. In one of the first episodes, Andy is
talking to Opie about his mother and Opie remembers her so, it seems that
Andy was a two-timer.
I can't remember an episode where Opie remembers his mother...which episode

Who can forget the spoiled brat Arnold Bailey in the 'Opie and the Spoiled
Kid' episode? Although he was a brand new Mayberry resident and not a passer
through, he still exuded a lot a meanness for a little guy. In the height of
his angry dissertation, he yelled that he didn't even care if his dad was
thrown into the slammer. I think there needs to be that old-fashioned wood
shed shown on the Mayberry courthouse blueprints on the TAGSRWC/Mayberry
website.
That young 'un deserved that long, overdue spanking!
Just putting in my two cents worth, which is what Andy raised Opie's
allowance by.

I was watching the color episode of TAGS last week,before the show started
the narrator mentioned that Don Knotts won an Emmy for this show in which he
returns to Mayberry.My wife then asked me how many Emmys he won for the
show,and for that matter how many did the show win totally? Imagine my
embarrassment when I, a self proclaimed TAGS expert could not answer her
correctly.So I'm turning to all of you ,my fellow bulliten boarders,to help

Subject: Most Annoying Scene
While reading the comments about the meanest character in TAGS, it
started me thinking about the most annoying scene in the show. Now
taking a risk that I don't break rule number two (which I don't
believe I'm doing and we should all be careful not to), I find one of
the most annoying scenes to be the one where Gomer stays with the
Taylor's and keeps everyone up making a lot of noise. This, however,
is by design... Gomer is a lovable character and is generally not
annoying, but here he is designed to get on everyone's nerves and does
(including mine)! I personally don't like to be annoyed so this is
doesn't happen to be one of my favorite episodes, but I do like Gomer
very much. There are other scenes that I find annoying, but I'm going
to keep quite and see what others mention. Just curious what scenes
everyone else finds to be annoying... many of these may be by design,
so it's not necessarily a bad thing; an annoying scene can certainly
be intentional and important to the plot of the episode like the one I
mentioned.
