Hi all,

Speaking of TAGS actors in country music video's, lets not forget our own
WBMUTBB member and beloved Mayberry Deputy David Browing appearing in
Confederate Railroad's video Elvis and Andy several years ago....it was
great.
As Gomer would have said, "It's a picture no artist could draw."

Hey Folks,

I hope you're liking the "Quote of the Day." Several folks have mentioned it
so I'll try and keep it up for a while.

Just as another quick note. The way the WBMUTBB Digest software works
is....it AUTOMATICALLY sends out the Digest every morning at 7 CDT no matter
how large it is (one e-mail or 10). It also sends out the Digest anytime it
reaches a certain size. That's why you're getting more than one a day
sometimes. I just wanted to let y'all know so you'd know why you've gotten
more Digests lately....we've just been talking a lot more. :-)

QUOTE OF THE DAY

Mayor Stoner: "Sheriff Taylor, did you call these men away from their duty
just to give them that hair-brained idea?"
Andy: "Well I figured they need some help. Luke knows that Fletch has got
a
prized cow out there and I figured he'll come by tonight to help
himself to
        it."
Inspector: "Well then why aren't you out there waiting for him?"
Andy: "He's to smart for that. Luke or his dog would spot us for sure. We
got to get him with the evidence. So I figured we'd wait in here and
let him
        turn himself in. You see.."
Stoner: "Sheriff, I am a patient man but I've heard enough. I have heard
enough! I am not going to permit the entire law force of Mayberry to
sit
around in somebody's parlor on some impossible theory while those
crooks
could be cleaning out every farm in the county. ...Come on men."
Barney: "You comin'?"
Andy: "No, I'm gonna stay here."

********************************************************

Barney comes back in the door...

Andy: "Well?"
Barney: "I just uh... thought I'd uh... wait with you a spell."
Andy: "Well I appreciate it, Barn, but the Mayor could be right. Could be
a
        kind of a hair-brained idea."
Barney: "Well, I'll take my chances. I was almost out to the car and... well
I got to rememberin' another time a few years back when another Mayor
of our
town accused you of havin' a 'hair-brained idea'. Remember that?
That was
when you had the idea of... makin' me your deputy."

In the episode where they're making a movie in Mayberry, Barn asks the
director if he'd ever met so-and-so. The director says yes and relates
their
brief, uneventful conversation. Barn then says that so-and-so is a funny
duck. As usual my memory has failed me because I can't remember who
so-and-so is.

That was Gabby Hayes.

Gomer seemed really fond of Preston Fostermovies. And of course, there's
George Raft and a whole pan of cashew fudge. (Sorry if I misspelled his
name. I'm a little embarrassed to say that I ain't too familiar with him.)

Tod "Baron von Rick-toven" in Nigeria

"Aw, paw, cain't I even look at the purdy man?"
