Yes. "RFD" was canceled in the spring of '71, "The Waltons" moved in during
the summer of '72.

It still exists, sitting on the Warner Brothers Ranch backlot, on Hollywood Way
in Burbank.

Hi neighbors. I was priviledged to spend the Fourth
w/my son & daughter in law, in Linton, IN (S. IN, coal
mining country). The largest Fourth of July parade in
Indiana 4-hours long! Law enforcement is invited from
the entire state. And they show up. It's quite a
spectacle. We do however need Mayberry Sheriff's
patrol cars.

Linton is pretty much like Mayberry. Pretty laid back.
Same Mayor, Jimmy Wright for an eternity.

Also, on my way to Muncie, IN yesterday (Ball State
Univ.), another Mayberry moment. Off I-69,in Fishers
IN, there is a five story building with the name
'WILEY' across the top in large capital letters. Could
it be our own Mrs. Wiley is affiliated? Maybe that's
where she made her $$ to be so sophisticated. Since we
don't know where her obvious wealth came from...(How
else could she afford that oval window in her parlor?)

Hi! I'm doing a project on Hal Smith (Otis on TAGS)... does anyone know
where I can find biographies (besides the very brief 5 setences IMDB.com
bio), information and sound clips (besides the few on Emmett's WAVs)?

Or if you know anyone who knew Hal, could you provide me with a way to
contact them?

If you have anything, please email me at [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Thank you!

Sincerely,
Jared Walczak

filing papers)

Barney: Hi Andy.
  Andy: Hi Barn.
Barney: Look at that would ya.

Barney: Well since the eighth grade. And you want to know something? There's
things right there in that book that I learned that I still remember to this
day.
  Andy: Oh come on!
Barney: To this day! It's amazing how that stuff stays with ya. Once you
learn something it never leaves ya. It stays locked up tight right in the old
noodle.
  Andy: It does huh?
Barney: Sure, here let me show ya. Yeah, The Constitution of the United
States. Now we had to memorize the preamble of that. I still remember it.

>>>... The DVD's at SAM's Club that have 16 episodes doesn't list the

>>>

I don't know exactly which set you mean, but I can almost guarantee you that
all of the episodes will be between numbers 80 and 100. Somehow, the
copyrights expired on that block of episodes a few years back, and several
different companies started selling them on both VHS and DVD (without the
correct theme music, which is covered by a different copyright).

If you don't have an episode list handy, just go to www.amazon.com or any
web site that sells DVDs and browse for Andy Griffith. You can probably
find the exact same DVD set there (I'm guessing they were put out by
GoodTimes home video), but no matter what company made the DVDs, they will
all have pretty much the same episodes.
