I agree with Aunt Bee of Orlando completely.I don't believe that this fan
had any intention of ringing Andy's doorbell or disturbing him in any way.
All she wanted was some advice on how to get an autograph.Perhaps
she could check on ebay or an autograph internet site.Hey-we're from
Mayberry in our hearts, lets help her out if we can. Anita Kollmann

I was watching the episode where the man was recording performances by people
in Mayberry and was wondering why nobody asked the Darlings to perform for him.
Jim Lindsey would've been another one to record.

Hello Everyone,
I was just thinking that although you never doubted how much everybody
loved each other on the show, you really never heard anyone say "I love you".
But there are a few episodes that I remember references to loving someone.
Wondered how many yall could think of? Off the top of my head I remember
Barney yelling to Thelma Lou as they were dancing, "You're the only girl I
love!" Also, when Andy is on the front porch with Opie (when he was jealous
of Peggy) Andy told Opie he was his youngen' and that he loved him more than
anybody. There's a few more that I can think of but I'll give everyone else a
chance to put on their buckets!

I always got a chuckle how Jim Lindsay could get that much "sound" out of his
guitar, WITHOUT an amplifier!
Barney: "Now get down there with those spiders Gomer!!!"

Trivia question: How many DIFFERENT characters did Allan play on TAGS? My
favorite on TAGS is when Earnest T. meets him as the recruiter, when Bass
wants a uniform to impress his "gal"! ------If you got that one, how many did
he play on shows OTHER than TAGS? Hint, he was once on "The Honeymooners".
Baby boomers should recall most of the shows he was on.

Last night, when the mother of Opie's rich friend from camp told Aunt Bee
good-bye, she said, "Good-bye, Mrs. Taylor." I'm assuming that one was just
the actress flubbing the line.
