I don't think you get the picture, Mr. Hurd. On one hand you got pop.......and
on the other.....soda. Now westerners there, they like to call it soda.
Whereas Baker and Charlie, uh, I mean northerners say pop. Then on the other
hand, that makes 3, we from the Atlanta area always say Coke.
In other words, we ain't doing rocket science here at the Bulletin Board, so
lighten up, or move on and read sumpin else in the list.

God Bless you and yours,

Andge in Bethlehem

Well Kenny,
Don't stop there. Tell us more about Aunt Bee's last house and the
low-down from her neighbor ladies. What flowers did Aunt Bee specialize in?
etc., etc., etc.

My wife and I went to a Tennessee River Run concert in Pickwick,Tennessee
featuring Darrell Worely last night. Well Whispering Bill Anderson was there
and guess what he sang? Rolling in my sweet baby's arms. Thought you would
get a kick out of that. Sounded just like mule river train.

Subject: Missing TVLand episodes

Regarding the missing B&W episodes that we love so much: TVLand's website has
a link to FAQ's. It explains why some episodes are aired and why others are
not. It sometimes does have to do with licensing. I personally think they
ought to air all of the episodes anyway but it's out of misdemeanors that major
felonies grow.

In early July 1998, our family vacation consisted of visiting the Mayberry
Cafe in Danville, Indiana and the Mayberry Squad Car Rendezvous in Bradford,
Ohio. On Interstate 70 just east of Indianapolis, we stopped at a Dairy
Queen. This was part of a gas station and truck stop. As we were eating our
Brazier food, we struck up a conversation with two older ladies. When we told
her which direction we were headed, she cackled "You're going the wrong way!"
and laughed.Little did she know, we had a great time at the cafe and later at
the Squad Car Rendezvous. From the reports I've heard about 'Mayberry in the
Midwest', that was an excellent event. So what if this lady wasn't the best
ambassador for Indiana tourism; She was still funny.
