I remember reading an article on Michael Jordan when he was
playing for the Bulls. It said that he was a big TAGS fan,and
that when the team was on the road he taped every episode.

Mayberry-gateway to danger".

I just heard the song "Mayberry" by Rascal Flatts. It is very thought
provoking and a good song overall. If you get a chance, listen to it.

A friend asked me a question about how many sisters of Aunt Bee were
mentioned or referred to during the show. The only one I could think of was
Nora, Ollie's wife. Didn't she call Nora her baby sister? Were there others
mentioned? Who and when?

In one episode (Citizen's Arrest I think?), Barney is riled up at Gomer and
says something like, "Why don't you just go up an alley and holler 'Fish!'"
Is this what I'm hearing? If you know, please tell me. My Pastor and I
have a BBQ dinner riding on this one. Thanks!
Still tryin' to understand those Horatios Andy was teaching Opie!

As part of the "trained noticer in training program," I thought I would point
out an error I noticed recently. This is in regards to the episode where the
man comes to town with a map claiming to know where the Ross Treasure is
buried. He then skips town with everyone's money. Well, when he is at the
train station, the sign says a train is coming either to or from "Ashville."
Those of us born and bread in the Carolinas know the correct spelling in NC
is really "Asheville" - just as it is Ashe County in NC. Asheville is
mentioned again in the episode where the Taylor's are considering going on
vacation.

Mighty democratic of you anyway
I voted early because I promised Goober I'd air freight him some auto

Someone mentioned Alan Jackson as being a TAGS fan? At the Mayberry
gathering in Nashville over a year ago, I was standing in line to get
autographs. I started talking to a guy behind me who happened to be in Allan
Jacksons band. I don't know his name but he played an instrument. I am not a
country music fan, but i had heard of him. He said they were shooting a video
that day and he came over for the autographs.
After we got home, i started watching the CMT channel to locate him and
my teenage sons gave me much grief for watching hours of CMT.
