Hi Folks! Happy Thanksgiving! My favorite all-time episode with Parley Baer
is The Bed Jacket". I think it is just an over-all funny and particularly
touching episode. (What kind of a person wears a tie fishing?) I love
Parley Baer and I understand he was a close friend of Howard McNear; in fact
he gave the eulogy at McNear's funeral. I am sure they are looking down on
us with Aunt Bee, Helen Crump, Clara Edwards, etc. and smiling at all the
love for Mayberry! Lots of luck to you and Yers! MER

Thanks to all for the Gomer explantion. 'Precaite it.
Don Knotts hometown., Morgantown WVa,. Recently named a
St.after him. Don Knotts Way ( I think) Goood grief !!
they coulda called it Knotts Landing! That woulda been
awful
He attended a High School reunion there.this past
summer I beleive. One of his classmates described him as a
cutup in school. Good ole Barn
I am not certain . but I think Ron Howard was born in .
or around HWOOD. I hope that he has a Star on the walk of
fame or something. Well, he does have the well earned
Oscar. Very talented man., at times I think under
appreciated. .

neighbors turned against each other when lights kept going on and off, and
cars wouldn't start, then started by themselves. Turned out it was aliens who
decided to let US, destroy each other to save them the trouble. John

Can any of you trained noticers out there post the three or four chants
that Barney says during "The Jinx" episode.
