Right-O, Dan, that's the answer I was looking for. It comes at the end of the "cat barber" scene. It sounds to me like he calls Floyd "Mr. Feldman," but it isn't very clear. It's definitely not "Lawson." Since this was Howard McNear's first episode, it's likely the writers had not yet given Floyd a last name. Perhaps they were going to wait to see if the character would "catch on." Same thing happened with Aneta Corsaut; at first she was simply "Miss Crump," then six episodes later on she got a first name.
--Paul >>>Paul, if I recollect rightly, in Mayberry Goes Hollywood, Mr. Harmon called Floyd by another name. I can't recall exactly what he does call him, but it is from out in left field. Sounds like Dan Frazer who played the part either got his tongue or his memory tangled up. dan _______________________________________________ WBMUTBB mailing list [email protected] http://mail.wbmutbb.com/mailman/listinfo/wbmutbb_wbmutbb.com http://www.mayberry.com/tagsrwc/wbmutbb/
