Andy Griffith said " I have lost a good friend," when told about Don's death. I
think all of us who are fans whether we have ever met him in person or not feel
the same way. There was that quality about the modest & very talanted man that
lent itself to that feeling as we watched his appearance on the show, his
movies & his other hit show Three's company, but most of all as he played our
beloved Barney. My heart goes out to Andy, Harvey & others who had the
opportunity to work with this one of a kind performer.
