I have been reading and reading all the WBMUTBB emails about Don Knotts but
have not written anything until now. I can't think of any other famous person
who has died that brought tears to my eyes except Don Knotts. I was thrilled
to have seen him and Tim Conway do their comedy routine in 2002. He answered
audience questions and seemed so shy, like he wasn't comfortable talking about
himself. I don't think he realized what an impact he made on so many people.
Maybe he was wondering what all the fuss was about.
