I thought of a few actors and actresses who could be in TAGS movie, if they
ever make one. How about Sara Rue (from Almost Perfect) as Flora, Jessica
Simpson as Charlene Darling, Sandra Bullock as Ramona, Kelly Ripa as Skippy - I
haven't cast Daphne yet. Helen Hunt as Thelma Lou, Rene Russo or Marg
Helgenberg (from CSI) as Helen, the only thing is I don't know if Marg or Rene
could give those blistering looks to Andy when they are mad. I also thought it
would be good to have some appearances from the TV show stars. How about Andy
Griffith as Reverend Tucker, Don Knotts as Asa the bank guard, Betty Lynn as
Clara or one of Aunt Bee's other friends and Jim Nabors as Mr. Schwamp (he's
got a nice smile and I'm sure he could nod and pour root beer).

PS: I did cast myself as Kim, Mayberry's newest resident that way I can be in
any and all crowd scenes.

Lydia, I do declare that's an outstanding idea! You
know, I'd stop and pick up your hair ribbon anytime,
but I believe, I just believe, it'd be safer if you
were to keep your head inside the car.

We'll see ya!

Hey from Indiana,
I would like to respond to Bee in New Concord's question about Barney's
middle name.
I'm not for sure but could the "P" possibly stand for Parney as in Parney
Poo, or might I be accused of being "facetious" in suggesting this? I do know
how Barney hates it when people are "facetious!" But then that's better than
being selfish like them Giraffes. Boy, Giraffes are selfish !!! LOL
Youall have a happy Mayberry day!!!!

Thanks to Paul and Ray for furnishing the links to the 40 Acres information.
It should be required reading for all TAGS fans and especially for WBMUTBB
members.

When trying to go to the Daily Read for the next chapter, I am having a
problem getting the site to download. It tells me there are restricted cookies
and
the site with the restriction is paypal! I don't use paypal so don't
understand this. Doesn't happen every time, but quite frequently. Anyone else
having
this problemo? And what do you do to get by it?
The Murder in Mayberry is quite interesting and I hope all of you are going
there to do some reading!!
NC getting ready for another ice/snow storm, which makes me wonder..since
Mayberry is located in the NC mountains, there was never an episode with snow
in
it, as far as I remember! In 6 years not one flake! Talk about your ideal
place to live, but then the kids miss out on all the sledding! Those were the
days, my friends!
BTW...Carol has had her latest bone marrow biopsy and it was totally
clean..no leukemia there! We drove home from the hospital the day of the snow,
and it
took us from 1:25 until 8:35 to make a 20 minute trip!
Y'all have a great day, y'hear?

Hey folks,
Just a quick note to let you know the "Whatzits" contest has officially come
to a close at the Mayberry Emporium web site. Thanks to everyone who
participated. We had some really creative answers. Congratulations to Kathryn
Darden
from Nashville, TN for being the winner. Kathryn won several great Mayberry
related prizes including autographs of Andy Griffith and Don Knotts. You can
go to the web site and see the correct answers.

Another new spot on the web site is on the "About Me" page. Several folks
have expressed an interest in getting a better look at some of the items IN my
office. Now, if you click on an item, you will go to a larger picture.

Special thanks to everyone who visited the web site in 2004. Keep checking
back for more Mayberry Stuff in 2005.

I also have a few auctions going on eBay this week. An original TAGS script
and a few rare autographs including "Skippy" AND "Daphne" the Fun Girls and
the rarest of all, Howard McNear. Check them out!

Make plans to attend one or all of the Mayberry gatherings around the
country this year. I promise you will have a great time and make lots of
Mayberry
friends.

As always, if you are shopping for Mayberry related items, go to Weavers
Department Store. By supporting Weaver's you make a lot of great things
possible
for us fans. Then if you are looking for something else, stop by the
Mayberry Emporium and say "Howdy".

BREAD!!

I'd like to thank Donna and Dan Grady for the information on the web site
for the video clips of old TV shows and commercials. I really enjoyed them.
We need to take time to thank those that provide us with things we enjoy
seeing or those that provide us with information we request through the
WBMUTBB.
'Preciate it!!

Great Idea, Marie!!!!!!
I don't usually watch Oprah---but you couldn't pay me not to watch this
one!!!

Chaz

I emailed Oprah at Oprah.com & asked her to consider having a reunion of
the surviving cast members on the show. I also steered her towards
http://Mayberry.com/ & WBMUTBB. in case she was interested in joining us
here.
