Can you folks just imagine Barney shopping at Newton Monroe's car trunk in
search of a perfect gift for Thelma Lou on Valentine's Day? Now that she
has a pineapple peeler, he is going to really have a hard time finding the
perfect gift. Of course he could always go back to Weaver's and get one of
those beer can openers with an umbrella on it.
I imagine he will take Thelma Lou out to Morelli's for the pounded steak or
maybe it is "steak sandwich time." and he won't bother with soup or salad,
it will be both. He will probably slip the gypsy a quarter so he will play
the violin for them. Then afterwards he will probably take Thelma Lou out
to the duck pond. Sure hopes he remembers to take a flashlight so they can
see the ducks after dark. The night will probably end back at Thelma Lou's
with them listening to Cole Porter while eating cashew fudge, or maybe
mozzarella pizza. Coke Porter has that certain effect on Thelma Lou. And
if he is really brave, old Barn will say good night by looking into Thelma
Lou's eyes and saying those three special works. "You're the Cats."

Happy Valentine's Day everyone and hey to you and yours.

Re: Also, does anybody have a link to the website where you can look up
and see where famous folks are buried. I had bookmarked it once, a long
time ago, but have since lost it. My friends are wondering where
William Randolph Hearst is buried and I want to look it up. By the way,
I saw a documentary about him recently and didn't realize he was so
involved in the movie industry.

Citizen Kane is buried in San Fran. Here you go:

Hey, Paul, we heard your Puzzler on Car Talk last Saturday. My wife knew
the answer immediately, because we've been teaching our 4 year old grandson
the same thing.

If this doesn't make any sense to anybody else, you shoulda listened to Car
Talk on public radio last Saturday! When I heard Paul's Puzzler was going
to be on the air, I had to wonder if it was going to have a TAGS link, but,
alas, it didn't. I guess Paul does have some sort of life outside of TAGS
after all (who'd a thunk it?).

Hey, Dixon, my son got an SCTV DVD for his birthday. And what do we get to
see, but "The Merv Griffin Show" bit with Eugene Levy as Floyd. That is
such a hoot.

There are a few sites that document where the famous are buried.
http://www.seeing-stars.com/Buried/index.shtml
http://politicalgraveyard.com/
http://www.findagrave.com/
But according to,
http://obits.com/hearstwilliamrandolph.html
Hearst is buried at his family's mausoleum in Coloma, California.

Don't forget to look for Tom Silby....

My Mayberry day begins as I head over to the Snappy
Lunch for a bite. I'll talk with Frank and leave a generous tip to Olive
(bless her heart). Then I think I'll
head over and watch the boys -Old Judd and Old Chester- as they play a rousing
game of checkers. Sit with them for a while and duck when the checkers start
flying. Maybe later I'll go on over to the hotel for a nap. Yep, that's the
plan:
Snappy Lunch for a bite, watch the guys play checkers,
back to the hotel for a nap. Yes, that's just what I'll do...Snappy Lunch for a
bite, watch the boys, back to the hotel for a nap. Yessiree, that's my plans...
Signed, Lydia a girl who definitely knows her mind
