Got young un's? Bring 'em to Floyd's for a haircut that everybody will like.
All the traditional cuts for that "little shaver." Don't forget that
Floyd's has Saf-T-Pops for the little ones and bubble gum for the bigger
kids. "Floyd's - barbering at it's best!"

This may be old news to most of you, but just in cast one or two of you did not
know it, Buddy Foster (the little boy
who plays Mike in the colored series) is the brother of Jodie Foster the movie
star. I have no idea what he has done recently as far as show business. Guess I
could goggle it.
And also, I don't know if the writer who wrote about Mr. Schwump being The
Beaver in real life was serious or just
having fun with us, but in case he was for real or if some really young person
may have thought he was for real, Mr. Schwump and The Beave could never be one
and the same because "Leave It To Beaver" was on during the same time
TAGS was running. Both shows started in the early '60s and
ran for several years. And obviously Beaver was a young boy
and Mr. Schwump (whoever he is) was an adult.
I have just hear about my great love Ernest T. passing away. How I hate that!
I did so much enjoy him. Each passing is almost like a death in our family,
isn't it?
Lydia, the tears on my pillow do indeed bespeak the pain that is in my heart

Does anyone know if Weaver's is off for Memorial Day???
I received a package from them on Thursday with everything I ordered minus
my Second Season DVDs. I called yesterday and left a message during
business hours and have not received a call back - I just tried to call
again and got the message again.
Curious if anyone knows if they are off for the weekend - and/or has an idea
as to why my DVDs didn't ship. My confirmation e-mail says they were part
of the $97.00 order. Thursday isn't too early is it??
Thanks for any and all help!
Chaz

just in case he was, or in case a really young person took it seriously, both

airing pretty much at the same time back in the '60s, so there's no way The
Beave and Mr. Schwump can be one and the

I am so sorry to learn of Howard Morris' death, as well as the death of a
fellow TAGS' member's daughter. My heart really goes out to you and your
entire family.

I wonder if that's him (David Browning) in the commercials for the furniture
store in Dogtown, Alabama, appearing with George Lindsey as Goober??

He came down from the mountains,
with his bag full of rocks,
he was so full of life,
we just loved to hear him talk.
He would giggle & laugh,
and run through the streets,
he learned to spell CAT,
on Romeena he was sweet.
He could make Barney mad,
when a window he'd break,
when he showed up at Mrs. Wileys,
she would shiver & shake.
He loved Charlene Darling,
even though Dud she did marry,
remember the plate glass window that broke,
that the men tried to carry?
But still he was special,
and dear to our hearts,
and thanks to the reruns,
he will never depart.
Our Dear Ernest T,
was a part of Mayberry,
and close to our hearts,
his memory always we'll carry.
Good Night Dear Friend!!!

I was deeply sadened to learn of Howard's passsing. We met him quite a few
years ago in Kingsport and enjoyed talking with him. I will never forget how
nice he was to my family. I am glad I had the opportunity to meet him.

I just recieved my DVD's of the 1st and 2nd season
along with a pair of (s.p.). Thanks to Weaver's for
making it a fun weekend.
When I recieved my package, my daughter and I watched
TAGS until 1:00 a.m. I had to force myself to turn it
off and go to bed. I am thrilled!!

When is season 3 due to be released .
I read on the package of season 2 that if you purchase it along with another
season set you get a discount.
Anyone know how this works , was thinking of buying both sets then when 3 comes
out.
