I cannot believe it but I actually saw Mr. Schwump speaking. Well, actually
he was singing. In the Mayberry RFD TVLand aired Saturday morning, Mr.
Schwump was actually singing "For He Is A Jolly Good Fellow" at Andy's
bachelor dinner. I do believe that is the first and only time I have every
seen him say anything.

You seem to have left out one, Jed. MISS PEGGY!

I bet people never thought of this, and most may not know the answer.

The long antenna on the sheriff's car. What police radio frequencies is it
capable of operating on?

People who have a knowledge of scanner frequencies should know the answer.

We have often mused about what the P stands for when Barney lists it as
his middle initial (we know at other times its Milton and Oliver). What
about Porky? He gives himself that name in the Gentleman Dan episode of
Season 1, when he and Andy are complimenting Aunt Bee on the lunch she
prepared. ...though Parney Poo is also a possibility.

Hey you know that picture I mentioned outside Opie's room in the hall??
Some of you also recognized it as familiar. Could it be that picture of
baseball game when it starts to rain, where the Ump and others are
standing near the pitcher's mound?? Just an idea.

Trained Noticer's--Hilda Mae's home looks familiar (that well-used round
window and all). I think its only seen in "Andy saves Barney's Morale"
Was it used by another Mayberry single lady?
