Father's. You know the kids got plans for you on your special day. And Mom,
well...she got plans for for you after the kids are all tuckered out and
tucked in! Make the most of this day by looking your best! C'mon down to
Floyd's for a haircut suitable for that family portrait. And for Mom!
Floyd's Barber Shop, "Barbering at it's Best!". Closed on Sundays.

Barney had two great lines the other night in the episode
where he captured the litter bug/escaped criminal.
1. "This is what we call the deadly game, and I'm in it for
keeps".
2. "You know Andy,I never thought our town would come to
this;Mayberry-gateway to danger."
Cracks me up every time! John Saylor

Thanks, Jason! There is no doubt of being a TAGS fan wearing that red
collage shirt. (available at Weaver's)
It is always nice to meet fellow WBMUTBB members. You see a name, but
you don't get a real connection until you meet them in person. I always
enjoy hearing the introductions at the annual Mayberry Days WBMUTBB
photo session.
Jason had his guitar and was "scrubbing off" some of his own songs for
the crowd at a benefit event we attended. He and Rodney Dillard do a
great Bob Dylan impersonation. Keep an eye on his website
www.jasonharrod.com for a show near you and tell him Goober says hey.

I also NOTICED witch hazel on the shelf @ Walgreen's
yesterday/Thursday....but seeing J Koontz in Raleigh beats everything.

OK. What was the name of Goober's teddy bear?
Barney's voice teacher?
O'Malley says pass the Miss Mayberry luncheon tray.

Actually, I believe the line IS "Better phone him, Al."
I have been sick this week and the weather has been rotten so I've been
watching more movies than usual. I watched BOY'S NIGHT OUT on TCM the other
day. I wouldn't have watched except that it listed Howard Morris in the
credits. So I had the pleasure of watching a whole movie with Howard in it.
Occasionally I thought I saw glimpses of Ernest T.
We were watching the TAGS mini-marathon on TVLand the other night and Barney's
Replacement was on. I waited for that great line "who's been messing up the
bulletin board" and wouldn't you know, My husband TALKED while Barney was
delivering the line! I love my husband but it is definitely no fun to watch
TAGS with him. He's so busy making smart remarks and guessing what is coming
up next (he's not a fan) that one can't enjoy the wonderful dialogue and
nuances of the show.
I was watching my VHS tape of Otis, the Deputy. The scene in the cabin when
Howard Sprague throws water in Andy's face makes me laugh out loud everytime.
I love the advertisements for Floyd's barber shop. Keep 'em coming.
Kind behind the eyes.
Why do you have to be a nonconformist like everybody else?
