If you can't make it to the Don Knotts film festival, maybe
you'd like to come up here to the South East Michigan
Humidity Festival. It's been going on for several weeks now!

Imagine my surprise yesterday while watching The Lone
Ranger, to see Aunt Bee as Aunt Maggie. Aunt Maggie is
the anti-thesis of our Aunt Bee! Aunt Maggie raised
her clan to be bank-robbers and she herself was gun
totin'.
Tonto nabbed her in the nick o' time. I think she must
of had some of those little hairs down her neck to
make her act that way!

Nectarine Crush sounds mighty good here in
Indianapolis, too.

Sure are a lot of droopy folks in town. Heat wave is relentless and is
showing no mercy. Well, Floyd is fighting back and fighting to win! Floyd
"called the man" and got himself a brand, spankin' new icebox and loaded her
up to the gills with pop! Huckleberry Smash, Nectarine Crush, root beer and
many others. Floyd wants you to know that these babies are so cold that
they're almost slush!
"No charge", says Floyd. "Just my way of saying thanks for your business!"
So get outta' the heat, get your ears lowered and help yourself to an icy
cold bottle of pop.

' I think Barney should also be credited for starting the movie "Planet of the
Apes" '
You know, Barney (or Al) and Maude were probably behind the "Dancing with the
Stars" show. I think I saw some of their moves copied by Evander Holyfield and
Rachel Hunter.

We are planning to go to Morgantown for the Don Knotts festival. However,
there is skimpy information on it.
I have gotten on the Morgantown website, and we even stopped there and left our
address, so when they had
more info on it they'd send it to us. So far haven't heard anything. Anyone
got more than a few other guests may
appear? When exactly is the parade and awarding of his star? Thanks to anyone
who knows. " 'Preciate it"!!
