porch with EvieJoy that the way they pick her up is upside down? Maybe
I am mistaken or they are cooing at her little baby feet...heehee

It was great seeing everyone in MT. Airy this year for Mayberry Days. We
made some new friends and have many new memories that will last a lifetime.
My web site is FINALLY up and running again. Due to some monkey wrenches
thrown in the mix there is a new address. Hopefully this will be the last one.
_www.mayberryemporium.net_ (http://www.mayberryemporium.net)
Please stop by and see what is going on in Mayberry I value and welcome your
feedback. I want this to be a fun site.
As always, if you are looking for some great Mayberry items please visit
Weaver's Department Store _http://www.mayberry.com/tagsrwc/weavers/_
(http://www.mayberry.com/tagsrwc/weavers/)
You will find the newest and best items around. Then if you are still
looking for something stop by the Emporium and say "Hi"
Continue to keep all of our Mayberry friends in your prayers.

I was sitting here under my bucket thankin' about thangs that were rare on the
show. Like how many times do you remember Andy wearing a hat, police or
otherwise? Seems he didn't like to wear headcovers. But Barney was usually
covered, either by his POlice hat or his beat-up Panama.
Or how many times do you remember Andy wearing a sidearm.
My son, Frank, Jr., and I were wondering if any of you trained noticers could
help us out.

When I was a child in southern California in the 50s folks used to leave dogs
tied up just outside a shop or kids in buggies and strollers and pre-schoolers
on benches or the mechanical horse while shopping. You could leave your bike in
the rack at school without a lock and your car unlocked at the store or your
driveway too. It was a much safer time and no one gave a thought to it. Just
think how far we've come in more ways than one and some not so good!

Yep. Howard's mom is a peice of work, that's how come I stick with Ernest T.
I wouldn't want to be friends with Helen, either. Emma Brand-yes; at least
she's forthright & outspoken (tee hee) AND makes good pies. Everyone must be
at Mayberry Days except us. The tears on my pillow bespeak the pain in my
heart...Since everyone is away, maybe we can revive a moulage gone by. Can't
you just see a hallway of the hotel crowded with TAGSRWC members in their
"sleep pants"???

Thank you
for the info on mayor Pike. I have nothing against Mayor Stoner And I
wish he'd stuck around. Andy & Barney needed a common enemy and Andy
wass very good at busting the balloon of someone's inflated ego w/o
hurting their feelings.

Ok I know we will have lots of reports from Mayberry Days and I do want
to hear them all. I was not able to attend that but went to Hickman,
Ky. I just want to say the people of this town are so nice to everyone.
It is a very small town. George Goober Lynsey was very funny and there
was lots of local entertainment and also the talent of national acts
Lulu Roman and Ken Mellons. Was a nice time.

I caught Ron Howard's "ED TV" over the weekend and Ron gave Don's movies a
little plug. Ed works in a video store and in one scene the camera is wide and
pans real close to a shelf with movies and guess which ones were plainly
visable and readable? The Ghost and Mr. Chicken!

"She left them in the jail cell napping. Otis was watching them."
I guess we will give her a pass since she left them with Otis. After all, Otis
is Mayberry's most distinguished citizen, a direct descendant of Hero Nathan
Tibbs.

I finally saw that commercial this weekend where the girls give fake names then
claim to be from Mayberry. I wonder if those girls are the daughters of Daphne
& Skippy?
