I don't know if I qualify as a "trained noticer", but I was just wondering if I
was correct in something I think I noticed while watching "Barney Mends A
Broken Heart" the other night. When Skippy and Daphne are arguing with each
other in diner, I think I made out the words "......nothing else to do on a
Saturday night" or something to that effect. However, in the next scene Andy
has the black eye and Barney apologizes for "last night". Didn't think they
came to office in uniform on Sunday's. hmmmm......just pondering.

I don't recall the exact year I joined. I'm thinking it was about 1993. I
DO recall that I was member # 50-something. Allan, would that be about the
right timeframe?
I appreciate the privilege of participating with one of my very favorite
groups of people Thought I've not yet been Mayberry Days, I have been able
to meet a number of you - Allan, Dennis Beal "all hail", David Browning,
and lots of others - at a some of the TAGS gatherings and have found out
some of us have even more things in common besides a love for the
show. I'm please to call y'all frfiends.
Ya know, this electronal marvel has worked so well, I'm not even sure we
need bigger wires.
I'll continue to try to obey all rules (especially rule #1), and I won't
even try to bust out with Lefite.

Hey from Indiana.
I'm trying to recall just how long we've been linked up to the digest. It
couldn't be more than two years as we haven't had our computer more than that.
I do think about the first thing I did once we got our computer up and
running was to have someone show me how to get connected to the Digest. I was
then
and mostly still today, computer illiterate.
I will say I've thoroughly enjoyed the daily reading of it though I haven't
posted often. It is a pleasure to welcome all of you into our home and know
that we are of like minds where entertainment is concerned. Just good clean
conversations and humor.
Our grandchildren all enjoy watching the "Andy Griffith Show" and we can
rest assured when that show is on the air, they aren't being submitted to
trashy
language or the like.
And there's not a selfish one in the bunch..... "Now, If they was
giraffes......."
Considering all of you like family,
Have A Maberry Day

As a professionally trained noticer, I just noticed another multiple character
appearance. The head of the State Bureau of Investigation who suprises Andy in
his new laundromat, is the same cop who led the State Police team in episode 2
- about the escaped convicts. Maybe he got a promotion...

If anyone sees Ernest T. Bass, please tell him I've got a bag of rocks from
Trick-or-Treating last night that I'll let him have.
Thanks!

Me and Laura Lee Hobbs were traveling through the southern
part of Alabama and we passed by a church with the name
of "All Souls." We stopped, but it was a weekday
and nobody was home. But it still remains a precious memory
to us. If any of you have ever come across an All Souls Church, me and Laura
Lee would love to hear about it.
I have no idea what domination it was, so I just assumed
it was a "we will take you, no questions asked" kind of church (and ain't those
the best kind?).
Yeah, I have always wondered why the other young boys Opie's age were not in
church since it seemed as if
All Souls was the only church in Mayberry, but then we really don't know that
for sure.
Well, I'm feeling a little nauseous from all the chocolate
I ate last night (no, you don't get too big to trick or treat; just ask Laura
Lee Hobbs).
Lydia, I don't care for the Fourth of July (too loud), and
I don't especially care for Christmas (too cheerful), but
I do love me some Halloween (good eats)
