I don't know if this question has been asked before, but how many episodes
did Elinor Donahue appear in as Ellie Walker?
I think I remember reading somewhere that Ms. Donohue appeared in 3 episodes.
Those more learned than I may know differently.

Erin, I loved your Mayberry moment. I remember when I was a child, folks could
leave their dog tied up outside the store or their little ones in the buggy or
stroller for a few minutes with no worries, like that lady did in Mayberry in
the Stranger episode. Can't imagine being able to do that in this day and age
so I'm glad to know that you and others are able to live like that in safe
communities somewhere. It warms my heart so I thank you for sharing with us.

I'll be darned if I know. I'm lucky to remember what I had for lunch
yesterday!
Speaking of Mayberry Days, I've missed the last couple because of a variety
of reasons, but I sure do miss it!! It's been especially hard on me and
"Maudy" (Tracey, my buddy), because we had been to 7 MD in a row previously.
We're just going to have to get back to Mt. Airy for next year's
festivities, even if we have to drag our kids along (right, Trace??).
