Here is a copy of my email to TVLand. Hope you'll join me in asking them
to add these features. As to the Unsung theme songs the website has
Bewitched, Jeannie, & Bonanza lyrics but no TAGS.

Please on your unsung theme songs add the Fishin' Hole aka the TAGS
Whistle.

The Fishin' Hole

Well, now, take down your fishin' pole and
meet me at The Fishin' Hole,
We may not get a bite all day,
but don't you rush away.

What a great place to rest your bones and
  mighty fine for skippin' stones,
You'll feel fresh as a lemonade,
a-settin' in the shade.

Whether it's hot, whether it's cool, oh what a
spot for whistlin' like a fool.

What a fine day to take a stroll and wander by
  The Fishin' Hole,
I can't think of a better
way to pass the time o'day.

We'll have no need to call the roll when we get
  to The Fishin' Hole,
There'll be you, me and Old Dog Trey,
to doodle time away.

If we don't hook a perch or bass, we'll cool our
  toes in dewy grass,
Or else pull up a weed to chaw,
and maybe set and jaw.

Hangin' around, takin' our ease, watchin' that
  hound a-scratchin' at his fleas.

Come on, take down your fishin' pole and meet
  me at The Fishin' Hole,
I can't think of a better way
to pass the time o'day.

Singer Andy Griffith

Music by Earle Hagen and Herbert Spencer
Lyrics by Everett Sloane

Also could you air some retromericals from TV shows? For instance, the
TAGS stars did commercials for General Foods, their sponsor. I wouldn't
expect any I Love Lucy ads because it would be illegal to air Philip
Morris ads today but what about Dick Van Dyke, L I TB, the Munsters, &
Jeannie? Did they do commercials for their sponsors whoever they were?
Or their promos?

Gloria Bruce asked:
"While I'm in the area I would like to see the original Andy and Opie statue in
Raleigh and I'd also like to visit Francis Bavier's grave in Siler City. The
problem is that I don't know where they're located. Can anyone help me?"

Try this for Francis Bavier's grave:

Looks like her entry is the 3rd one from the top.
I thought I was the only person that liked snooping around graveyards!

I was wondering if anyone knows what major airport is close to Mt. Airy.
I am now planning to go to Mayberry Days even though I went down in June
I am going now since Andy is attending. I figure he does not make many
appearances and this is so worth going back. I may drive but want to see
what is best. I know I will have to get a rental to drive but not sure
where to even fly to. Thanks Stan

This sounds like 3 episodes of TAGS, doesn't it.
Keeping one of the captives hostage while the other one gets loose.
Festus riding the cow like Otis did
Making it look like Festus had gotten clean away because they couldn't track
his footprints

>I was wondering if anyone knows what major airport is close to Mount Airy.

Greensboro (GSO) is the closest airport - 45 mins drive
Charlotte (CLT) is the largest - 90 mins drive
Raleigh-Durham (RDU) - 2 hr drive

If you want to book your flight online, I suggest using travelocity or
expedia to get prices and airline information, then go to the airline's
website to book the flight - that always saves the $5-10 service fee they
charge the travel service websites. Each of these airports have all the
major car rental companies and you can usually book the reservations
together and save too.

"Now I'll drive, so I'll sit in the front seat."

I have never heard the name "Rance" other than Rance Howard. Is it short for
something? Like Clint is short for Clinton, or John is short for Johnathan. I
can't even imagine what Rance would be short for. Curious.......
