Greetings from Portland, Oregon, where we're waiting for another big blow-up
from Mt. St. Helen Crump. Boy, Mt. Andy must've done something *really* bad,
'cause Helen's been steaming for days!

Whoever was looking for mosaic kits, go to Herrschners.com or call
1-800-441-0838. I just got my new catalog and lo and behold, there are
two different pages of mosaics! Otis would be thrilled!

Thanks to all who have shared with us distant westerners who weren't able to
attend Mayberry Days. We've been having a little excitement here in the
Northwest with our mountain to the north in Washington, Mt St Helens erupting.
With our clear weather, one of the Portland stations has been giving us live
pictures which has turned into a daily event of the mountain doing her thing.
Fortunately it hasn't been of the devastating nature of the May 1980's one, so
it's kind of fun to watch to see & learn a few things about volcanoes. As Gomer
would say if he were watching, GOLLY!!

The Digest has been a little more quite lately that in the past and I'm
sure that has some to do with the problems we've had in the last few
months. It looks like the problems are behind us and things are going
well now.
There are a few issues I want to bring up....
SPAM FILTER PROBLEM
We still have some users, AOL users for sure, that are having the Digest
filtered to their SPAM or Junk Mail folders. This is normally something
you can correct. Please check the "help" files at your Internet Service
Provider (i.e. AOL, Bellsouth, Earthlink, Charter, etc) to see how to
fix it if you are having the Digest filtered to a SPAM folder. I posted
information about how to fix the AOL problem over at the Golden Door to
Good Fellowship.

If you've not signed up over there, it is our "member only" area for
WBMUTBB Chapter members to be able to go there and visit on a more
personal basis. Drop by and sign up if you'd like. Also check there IF
we're ever having problems with the Digest because I post information
about problems there in the NEWS section.
CAN'T POST MESSAGES TO THE DIGEST
We've had a couple of folks tell me that they can't post messages to the
WBMTUBB Digest. Their problem was that they were sending messages in
something other than Plain Text. If you can, please send your messages
to the Digest using "plain text" because the Digest only allows plain
text messages to be sent forward. If you send in HTML format, the Digest
does it's best to strip out just the "text" and it goes ahead and sends
the message but some folks are sending these 'fancy' e-mails with
attachments and everthing. Those will get bounced back to you with a
message that says,
"The message's content type was not explicitly allowed."
If you see that, try sending it again using "plain text" as the format.
-----------------------------------------
Sorry for all the "technical" talk here on the Digest but I thought this
was important enough that I needed to send it.
