To Dan and Dave: Dirty me, dirty me, I'm disgusted with myself. I looked for
"Earth vs. The Flying Saucers" on Amazon.com and there it was! And to add it,
it is on special as a bonus pack along WITH "The Day The Earth Stood Still". I
think I may head back and order it, or maybe rent it from Netflix. Does he
play a record producer? At any rate, you two were right as rain. I guess the
smoking lamp wasn't lit too well in my head there! :-) **Barn (Ron McLendon)

Don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet, but Hugh Marlowe also was
known for
his daytime role as Jim Matthews on the classic soap " Another World "
which I believe
he played until his death some years ago..........Dave in New Phila.

Hi ,
I just wanted to let everyone know I have some items on ebay from my
collection. There is a set of the episode mugs that are no longer available
to buy and 1 lot of videos that include some cool movies with TAGS stars in
them such as Betty Lynn in June Bride and a few movies with Andy them. Also
a Johnny Lightning police car and some clocks. Im getting rid of some of my
stuff a little at a time and would rather see a Tags fan have them. Please
do not respond to the digest. My Ebay user name is bfifemd
Thanks,
Chris

1. Hugh Marlow
Hugh Marlow was an actor on the soap opera "Another World" for many years
as Jim Matthews.
He also appeared in the 1944 MGM Musical "Meet Me In St. Louis" as
Colonel Darley.

2. Warren, Floyd's cousin?
I never new that Warren was Floyd's cousin? What was Warren's last name?

Silvia from California
(Wishes she was in Mayberry)!! :O)

I know this is late. Sorry, but wanted to say I made my first Mayberry
Days this year. I only got to go on Friday but it was so nice to see
Andy for the first time. I was down along the fence where they stars
came in and I got a few photos of him but could not see the stage at
all. But it was all worth the drive down. I will try not to be negative
but a few things I wish folks in Mt. Airy could of done different. I
seen the State Winery put up a new sign on the Barn coming in town that
use to say Home of Andy Griffith. Well Otis might be happy but they
could of still placed on this a small home of Andy and still should.
Also Alan and David Browning should of been in the guests down front. I
know per David they were not on the list but the Elvis guy was????
These two are not just lookalikes and are very important to us and fans
all over. But was still a nice event and I do want to sometime get back
down to Mayberry Days and to all who have not been to Mt. Airy plan a
trip and get down there!

Go to Mayberry.com and click on the "Sound Files" link right there on the
front page.

Y'all might want to take a look around the Mayberry.com site if you never
have...there's LOTS of stuff there that any TAGS fan would love.

That Murder in Mayberry is fine readin' but if I may remind folks there
are lots of other stories at our TAGSRWC website under fan fiction...and
just like Water and air...its free. Now books at Weaver's we have to
make a charge for that.

Just go here and scroll down on the right side to Fan Fiction.

I went to my HS reunion last weekend and as you can guess lots of TAGS
parallels.
Wanted to see "who made it and who didn't"
My single friend was there along with "the girl that got away and
married" like Thelma Lou.
We were braggin about our kids "Harry and I have a girl AND a boy"
Mixed up spouses with classmates
Forgot peoples' names (but also forgot my yearbook)
But there was no "Cha Cha Cha" or no Nate Bracey (but a few bald guys)

It was a hoot comparing to those episodes

I know this has been mentioned several times and I did do a search of the
archives and followed some of the links, but I'm inept. I'm just inept! Is
there a site where I can get a free TAGS theme song for my cell phone? And if
I have to pay .10 to .99 cents, how does one pay? Ten cents on a credit card?
I don't think Mr. Weaver would approve of that. I don't like to float my
credit card number on the 'net anyway. Is there hope or should I just go up an
alley and holler fish?
Thanks for your help.
Carol, in western NY where the leaves are almost down and there's a nip in the
air.

Kind behind the eyes.
